Thursday: Laundry day - I had a lot of help from Joshua!

Friday: Trip to Monticello, Virginia - Thomas Jefferson's home. It was a wonderful trip, but I didn't get pictures of the home....duh! Here's a pic of the kids waiting to get in line - it was a hot day!

After the tour of Monticello - there was a hands on place where the kids learned how to write with quills and play with toys from that time period.

Kids watching TV - do you see Calvin, sitting in the doggie bed? Go figure!

I can't believe it's July 1st already!

I took Liz and Jon's kids back to them two days ago - it's just 3-4 hours from Jenny - they'll be close enough to each other now to see each other more often.
It's so good to see the Vance's have such a nice home - after starting out in a small one-bedroom stucco in Boise. Congratulations you guys!

It's been pretty quiet here - Jenny working on a bugga-bear class of Linguistics, the kids playing like crazy, and I'm spending most my time fixing meals and cleaning up - playing with grandkids - reading some excellent books, enjoying cooler weather. Hahahaha, which reminds me - it "cooled" off yesterday, down to lower 90's. I told the kids I would fill the swim pool and Emma said it was too cold to swim!!! I about chocked from laughing! It's been in the 100's for the last week, so low 90's is a sweet relief. (I DID fill the pool, and Emma DID swim!)
